- August 2025 - I was awarded an NSF grant for my proposed work on
Scalable Wide-Area Control for Frequency & Voltage Stability in Inverter-Dominant Power Systems. (PI: Emily Jensen, Co-I: Bri-Mathias Hodge)
- Summer 2025 - My student Addie McCurdy’s paper “Complete Decentralization of Linear Quadratic Gaussian Control for the Discrete Wave Equation” was accepted to the CDC.
- Summer 2025 - My student Andy Gusty’s paper “Optimal Control of Soft-Robotic Crawlers Subject to Nonlinear Friction: A Perturbation Analysis Approach” was accepted to L-CSS and to the CDC.
- Summer 2025 - Together with Prof. Philip Brown of UCCS, I organized the Rocky Mountain Workshop on Control & Autonomy at CU Boulder. See details here
- Aug. 2024 - I will be presenting my work on control of spatially-distributed systems at the 26th International Symposium on
Mathematical Theory of Networks and Systems in Cambridge, UK.
- Aug. 2024 - Thanks to Girls Inc. for welcoming me and Dr. Charlott Vallon as we hosted a Girls in Control workshop
- Jul. 2024 - I will be presenting my research group’s recent work at the American Controls Conference in Toronto.
- Jan. 2024 - Excited to officially start my role as an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado, Boulder!
- Dec. 2022 - I will be presenting my work on System Level Synthesis for Spatially-Distributed Systems as part of the System Level Synthesis Workshop at the Conference on Decision and Control (CDC) in Cancun, Mexico (Click here for more info)
- Jul. 2022 - Received honorable mention for the Young Author Award at IFAC NecSys 2022 along with Juncal Arbelaiz for our joint work on Information Structures of the Kalman Filter for the Elastic Wave Equation
- Jan. 2022 - Began my role as a postdoc at UC Berkeley
- Dec. 2020 - Presenting my work on Localization of the LQR Feedback Kernel in Spatially-Invariant Problems over Sobolev Spaces at the 59th Conference on Decision and Control (joint work with Bassam Bamieh, Johnathan P. Epperlien)
